Booking Your Session
Recovery Room has partnered with Fresha to deliver the best booking experience for our clients.
We strongly recommend downloading the app on your smart phone to manage your bookings, passes, memberships and client profile.
Although we think managing your bookings through the Fresha App is the easiest way, we understand this isn’t everyone’s cup of tea. If you’d rather give us a call to book your appointment, please feel free to do so.
How to Book

You can book sessions by clicking the “Book Now” link on our website or via the Fresha mobile app (available on iOS and Android). If using the app, simply search for “Recovery Room Kawana Waters”. You may see both our locations listed - be sure to select Kawana Waters for your membership bookings.

Use the same email you provided for your membership. Creating an account is free and only takes a minute. This will let you manage your bookings and see your appointments in one place.

Once on our booking page, choose the service or protocol you’d like to book. You can book individual services (e.g. a 20-minute Contrast Pool session or 30-minute Compression session) or try one of our curated Protocols that combine multiple modalities in one visit.
For example, the “Signature Recovery” protocol bundles compression, infrared sauna, and contrast therapy in a single 70-minute session for a full-body reset.
All these are included in your membership - no extra cost.

Check the calendar for available time slots and select a time that suits you. We’re open 7 days a week to fit your schedule.
You can typically book back-to-back sessions if you plan to do multiple therapies in one visit (just book each service separately, or book a protocol that covers them).

Once you’ve selected your service and time, proceed to confirm the booking. As a member with unlimited access, you won’t be charged for sessions covered by your membership. The system may still show a price associated with your booking but rest assured your membership will cover this and we will apply that to your session upon checking into the facility.
You should receive a confirmation email or app notification for your appointment. Bookings are essential to secure your spot, especially during peak times.

If your plans change, you can easily modify or cancel your booking through the Fresha app or via the appointment confirmation email. We kindly ask that you cancel as early as possible (minimum 2 hours in advance) so someone else can enjoy that slot.

What to Bring to Your Session
To make your experience comfortable and enjoyable, we recommend bringing a few key items each time you visit.

For the contrast plunge pools, you’ll want swimwear (e.g. board shorts, bikini) to immerse in the water. For saunas, swimwear or light gym clothing works well. Essentially, wear something you’re comfortable getting wet or sweaty in.
Underwear is unacceptable (sorry guys).

Towels are mandatory for anyone using a sauna or our contrast pools. Please bring a towel for drying off and for sitting on in the saunas (this helps keep our facilities hygienic).
If you forget your towel, no worries - we have some available for hire (just ask our staff).

It’s important to stay hydrated during your session. Bring a water bottle to sip on during your sessions. We have a hydration station on-site for refills, so you can top up as needed. We also provide cups if you forget to bring a bottle. Contrast therapy and saunas can be dehydrating, so drink up!

You might want to pack an extra set of dry clothes to change into after your session.

Ample car parking is available both on-ground and in the under-ground basement.
O2 Performance is located on the ground floor and Recovery Room is located on level 1 at the Sports Hub.
Make the Most of your Membership
Now that you’re all set, we encourage you to make recovery a regular part of your routine. Consistency is key! Many members find that using the Recovery Room 2-3 times per week (or more!) helps them stay pain-free, bounce back faster from workouts, and simply feel better day-to-day. Remember, you have unlimited access, so take advantage of it!
